Rare boffoboffo Posted 20 hours ago Author #127 Share Posted 20 hours ago Ended up spending most of the day just sitting in the food court at North Station visiting with my mother-in-law. She’ll be on our next cruise with us in two months which will be her first. There were a bunch of taxis just sitting outside so we grabbed one of them and made it back to the ship half an hour before all aboard time. They just made an announcement requesting one guest to check in at guest services. First time all cruise where they’ve had to do that. Our taxi. Our ship. Back with the Oceania Nautica and a bunch of airplanes landing next door.

Rare boffoboffo Posted 20 hours ago Author #129 Share Posted 20 hours ago A bit of sun and a temperature of 12°C feeling like 15° means people are actually out using the loungers on the pool deck for just about the first time all cruise. As a Bruins fan and a big Snoopy fan my wife had an easy time picking her Boston souvenir from the Bruins pro shop.

Rare boffoboffo Posted 16 hours ago Author #131 Share Posted 16 hours ago Dinner tonight in Crossings. Got there right at opening, not asked about table sharing. Tomato salad. Not sure why the tomatoes got top billing. Turkey scallopini either potato gnocchi. Fruit plate. Sunset while eating. 1
Rare boffoboffo Posted 15 hours ago Author #132 Share Posted 15 hours ago Sitting in the theatre now waiting for Rock You Tonight to start. It’s the other production show which sounds like it focuses on 70’s and 80’s rock. Still not my type of music but better than 50’s or 60’s. Might go to the perfect couple game show in Bliss when this is done then probably in for the night. The just announced a special full moon party tonight but that’s past my bedtime. Not sure what cell service will be like on our sea day tomorrow so hopefully I’ll be able to keep things up to date throughout our final day on the ship. Nice thing about a Canada/New England cruise is I’ve been able to stay out of airplane mode the whole trip and have only connected to the ship wifi a handful of times to check our spending balance. Otherwise I’ve had service most of the time I’m not in my room. So nice to not have to deal with ship internet which annoyed me so much on my last live blog. Rare boffoboffo Posted 15 hours ago Author #133 Share Posted 15 hours ago As I was typing that my wife received a call from Michael Ramirez, our NCL provided personal cruise consultant. I don’t know why he doesn’t give up because we’ve never used him to book anything or ever answered the phone when he called. While we’re already on a cruise seems like an especially odd time to call us.
