Booking shore excursions

We want to book shore excursions for an upcoming cruise using obc. When creating the reservation they ask for a credit card. If we book with the credit card will we be able to change it to obc while on the ship?

We have been able to use OBC for booking advance shore excursions through the cruise personalizer.  The OBC was applied first and any outstanding balance charged to our credit card.   

 

I understand that, If the shore excursion is cancelled, they will return the OBC to your onboard  account and refund the balance to your credit card.

I just booked an excursion and it automatically applied the OBC. Do you have enough OBC in your accounts to cover the excursions?

When I have booked excursions through the Personaliser, there is a button that is automatically checked to apply  OBC. If you don't want to use OBC just uncheck it.
