cruisequeen8822 Posted September 20 #1 Share Posted September 20 Hello! We're bringing our 10 year olds to Cozumel on Icon this year. They really want to do water inflatables and water trampolines. Which of these resorts is a better fit for us? Not overly concerned about all inclusive as we're not huge drinkers.

c-leg5 Posted September 20 #4 Share Posted September 20 (edited) I think the facilities at Paradise are probably better maintained - recent reports have stated Playa Mia looking “tired” probably due to it's rumored upcoming renovations. However Paradise is pushing AI and becomes a very expensive “beach day” IMO especially when you have to add on water park facilities extra. You could take your chances and see if there are walk- up PAYG options at Paradise on the day, if you are prepared to move onto Plan B (Playa Mia) if it is full. Playa Mia is much more flexible with day pass options with add-ons for things you want/don’t want and has more options around the pools - slides etc. and probably better snorkeling with underwater statues.
