raho74 Posted March 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2006 I will be staying overnight for a pre-cruise and would like to check out South Beach. I'm planning on staying near airport and rent a car. Is there reasonable parking in South Beach area or should I just get a cab? Thanks in advance.

Parking in South Beach will cost you $14-$25 per day depending. There is public metered street parking on 21st and Collins. There is are parking garages on 7th and Collins Avenue, 13th and Collins Avenue, and 17th and Collins Avenue. Garages are $14 for 24 hours. Don't try to street park without a permit. The Miami Beach Police boot and tow like no tomorrow. Don't try and stiff the meter or see previous. You can always valet at one of the hotels. A cab would cost you close to $70 round trip.
