Holiday---how deep is the children's pool?

How deep is the children's pool on the Holiday? My 6-year-old DS is not a very good swimmer and wants to take his lifejacket. I don't want to drag the lifejacket around with us, but also don't want him clinging to me the entire time we're in the water! Also, do they have children's lifejackets available for kids?

If memory serves me right about a foot. Our granddaugter (4 at the time) had a great time. There are two other pools - one about 3 feet and not sure about the other with the slide (maybe 5 feet). Will let you know that they are not very big. Yes they do have lifejackets for the kids. They will wear an armband during the cruise.

We went on the Ecstasy when my son was then 2yrs old, the kiddie pool was shallow enough for him to walk around and play in. When he sat down, I believe the water hit him about chest high.
