Layout of connecting cabins-- on Monarch?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Haven't been on The Monarch but just got off The Radiance. The connecting doors are at the end of the room right in front of the window. Not a bad spot. Our room had the 2 beds pushed together and our kids room had the beds apart and had a upper berth. The storage was great. All our suitcases fit under the beds and with having 2 rooms we had plenty of storage space. My only complaint was the connecting doors were locked when we arrived (by key). We had to wait about 3 hours to have them open. The other thing that was not good was you cannot lock the connecting doors if you wish to do so...I even spoke to the cabin steward to get the key and he told me he couldn't give it to me. Not great for Parent's if you get what I mean.

You will love having 2 cabins!

Vanessa
