Gifts for the room stewards

I read somewhere on here..a while back, maybe even 2 years ago..that one poster left a gift for their room steward on the last day...I do remember that it included a calling card. It sounded like a great idea and I've decide to try it out on my 7/24 Glory cruise, but I can't remember what else was in the gift. Does anyone remember, or have any ideas? Thanks!!

In our experiences, they are VERY well trained so IF it's YOUR gift to them be sure it is obvious-we handed over a $$$$ tip but also left a gift bag with lots of goodies-phone cards, candy, etc but it was never touched. We left it last night with a note saying thanks so hopefully he got the gift!
