Caye Cauolker Water Taxi

We will be in Belize in May and are looking to spend the day maybe at Caye Caulker.

 

How far is the water taxi from where the tender is located? Is it safe to walk?

We just got back from Belize on Tuesday. We did Ecological Tours. They meet you as you get off of the tender. We went on a half hour boat ride to Caye Caulker. First we went snorkeling on the reef for about 30 min. Then we went to a shallow area where there were stingrays and little sharks to swim with. Next, we got off and had lunch at Caye Caulker. It was a very nice tour, but we wish we had more time in Belize.
