Hotel recommendation in Venice for a post cruise stay?

There are 6 of us (3 couples) ending our 12 day cruise on the Millenium in Venice. We plan to stay there a couple of days before flying home. I need recommendations for a hotel in which to make our reservations. Any info would be appreciated!!!

Apparently there was a thread on this at one time, but the "search" can't seem to find anything for me.

In March 2002, we exchanged our Aruba timeshare for Palazzo del Giglio, 4*, a few minutes walk from San MArco Square. We are planning to stay there again at the end of our cruise in July using their hotel rate.

I know they had two bedroom units (sleeps 6) which you may be able to rent. It doesn't hurt to ask.
