Jewel - Transatlantic, Miami - Barcelona - weather?

Please help me find out information on the transatlantic crossing. We are sailing 30 April from Miami. What will the weather/winds be like crossing the atlantic to the med? We have sailed from New York to the Caribbean, will the sailing be the same?

As far as the weather is concerned, the days should be nice..the evenings will probably be on the cool side.

We went from Nassau to Rome in late April and early May. The weather was mixed, a rainy day or two and most days you could lie in the sun and the weather was comfortable. Evenings tended to be cool but not cold except of course for the rainy days.

Any others have experience on this subject?

I have visions of it being very rough and cold! We will soon see if i use my sunscreen or not!
