AndrewM Posted April 5, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2006 We want to take a Freestyle cruise to Bermuda from a port on the Northeast Atlantic US coast that stops at both Hamilton and St. George's. We are a couple in our early 40s who like cocktail bars, ballroom dancing, quiet sunbathing areas, a casino, a promenade deck with deck chairs that allow you to see the view without getting up. Food isn't a major concern. There are only 2 ships that I can find which meet our criteria. Which one should I book? thanks, andrew
marianneyaya Posted April 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2006 The Majesty only docks in St. George's.

smoothdancer Posted April 5, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2006 We too like to ballroom dance. Another poster that just returned from the Wind said there was a lot of opportunity to ballroom dance. We will be on the Crown in July and I am hoping we will have the same experieince
AndrewM Posted April 13, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted April 13, 2006 Which means the Crown fits your criteria best. If I scratched the criteria for docking at Hamilton, would Crown still be my best option? thanks!
Rumncoke Posted April 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2006 We're sailing the Crown at the end of May. I've heard that the cabins are larger on the Crown and came from more upscale beginnings than the Majesty. The Crown stops in St. George's, Hamilton and King's Wharf. Jeanne S Posted April 13, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 13, 2006 The Majesty cabins are small - some are only 108 square ft. The Crown's are bigger and many even have bathtubs.
