REGINA Posted April 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2006 We always sail Carnival and I get the soda card. They always used can or bottle soda. Does RCCL (Grandeur) have fountain soda?
dawcruiser Posted April 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2006 On Princess it is. Don't really know about RCCL. Don
CruzTravlr Posted April 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2006 On Mariner, "soda card" soda was fountain -- they filled the Coca Cola travel mug that was included in the purchase of the soda package. If you didn't have a soda card and wanted a soda, it was sold in cans.
40+guy Posted April 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2006 On our recent cruise on the Grandeur it was normally fountain service, but on a few occaisions our kids were given cans (like in the dining room or in the solarium). I do not know if this is common practice or the result of waitstaff just finding it easier at the time to just grab a can.
alexkrn46 Posted April 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2006 I don't like the fountain taste, and always buy the can, and bring a 12 pack in the room. Alex
JENANDGENE Posted April 7, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 7, 2006 The card IS just fountain soda Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite. Also I think there are a few juices included. ~Jen
