Anyone do sting ray encounter on Grand Turk

We'll be cruising the Elation week of June 11 and one of the stops is Grand Turk. DH wants to do a sting ray encounter (cost $55 through carnival). Anyone do this? I think it lasts just a few hours. Also where exactly does the ship dock - is it near the cruise center?
