cruisinbuddy Posted April 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2006 Does Liberty have wine tastings? I love trying new ones. When I was on the Golden Princess they had two. They also had great deals on wine. So i was just wondering if Liberty does these. Thanks.

ptmom Posted April 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2006 When we were on the Liberty in the Med there was, as mentioned, a tasting with a fee, but like $10. And there were 8 wines I believe.
jonor Posted April 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2006 $10 is nothing compared to wasting $40 on a bottle you end up not liking at all. I've made this mistake in the past and am glad to pay the money to keep from making another mistake. I'm not that experienced with wines. I just know what I like... woohoo4ue Posted April 7, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2006 Ew Fun! What about on the Conquest?
geauxgirl Posted April 8, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 8, 2006 I was on the Conquest about 2 years ago and they had a wonderful wine tasting class. I believe we tasted about 6-8 different wines for $2-$3 dollars each. Needless to say, we were all "giddy" when were finished with the class(they poured you more then just a "taste" in your glass)
cloudydrms Posted April 8, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 8, 2006 Do all the ships offer the wine tasting at some point on the cruise? I'll be on the Fantasy 4/15. I seem to recall wine tastings on other Fantasy class ships, but I'm not sure. Cindy
ptmom Posted April 8, 2006 #8 Share Posted April 8, 2006 I believe it depends on the length of the cruise. We were on the Fantasy 4 day (the bahamas Itinerary) in January and do not recall a wine tasting. There was only 1 sea day.
cruisinbuddy Posted April 8, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted April 8, 2006 Thanks all. I don't mind at all paying $10.00 ish for a wine tasting. When I was on the Golden P. they cost $7.50 and $25.00. In the latter, we tasted a wine that they were selling for $109.00. Very nice.
