Likely, nothing very special happening in Cozumel on Cinco de Mayo. It tends to be more of a celebration in the US than in Mexico. However, if you're ever there for Mexican Independence Day in September that is a HUGE celebration.

 

FYI: For those that think Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day, it is actually in commemoration of the day that the Mexican Army defeated Napolean's army in Puebla in 1862.
