envirochick Posted April 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2006 Hello: We have an opportunity to book a standard aft balcony cabin on Valor's Empress deck. The deck plan doesn't reflect that the balcony is any bigger than a side balcony cabin. Does anyone know if these cabins have a larger balcony? If you're prone to seasickness should you avoid the aft balcony?
serene56 Posted April 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2006 Aft balconies on any carnival ship are always bigger then the sides anyday. If you look at any Conquest, Liberty, Valor, Glory will show you that. The Empress deck is thee deck to have since its between cabins space and not public areas. (we are talking abou tthe aft cabins across the back of the ship)
zydecocruiser Posted April 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2006 And just so you know - I think they are only partially covered.
envirochick Posted April 11, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted April 11, 2006 Thanks for your help. We booked the aft cabin. I know the deck plans aren't to scale, but it really looks as though the room is bigger than standard, but the balcony is the same. I don't mind at all that it is only partially covered. Hopefully it will be an enjoyable experience.
