Cabin Location Question

I am a first time cruiser going on the Ecstasy in July.

 

Our current stateroom category is a 6A - Ocean View Stateroom.

I have the option for a free upgrade to a 6C - Ocean View Stateroom.

 

What is the difference between the rooms? Location perhaps? I am having problems finding out if they are even located on the same deck? Would it be wise to upgrade or no big deal?

 

Any help would be appriciated! Thanks :)

What you have is a 2 deck upgrade. In my opinion I prefer being on a higher deck so for me it would be well worth it. Some people feel the lower cabins have a better ride, so it's all in your perspective!

6A is on the Riviera deck. Lowest part of the ship.

6C is on the Upper deck. Two decks higher. That's a good location, because you only have cabins above and below you (no restaurants, casinos, crew decks, etc.) so it should be the least noisy.

But it's up to you if the upgrade is worth it.

Go for the free upgrade.

 

The Upper Deck is very convienent to get to all the places you want to get to.

 

Looking forward to your review of the Ecstasy. I've sailed her many times and always had a great experience. She should be looking good after her refurb!
