kime1372 Posted April 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2006 I wondered what kind of TV channels you get onboard? I don't plan on spending much time watching, but thought if I wanted to watch American Idol or something - will I be able to get the channel? Thanks!:o

springtxbill Posted April 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2006 None of the network shows are picked up. A couple of CNN international feeds and a Retro TV channel similar to what you may see on TVland.
wrp96 Posted April 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2006 Let's see what I remember them having. No network channels although they did have a channel (I think) of CBS shows but it wasn't the same as CBS in the states. TNT, ESPN international, CNN international, a bunch of Spanish language channels, a bunch of movies, the bridge cam (my personal favorite). wrp96 Posted April 12, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 12, 2006 Thanks Radio! Those were the exact ones we had on the Brilliance, Serenade, and Monarch last month except I think 42 was the bridge cam, at least on Brilliance and Serenade.

Maverick Mike Posted April 13, 2006 #10 Share Posted April 13, 2006 I wish there was something similar to the bridge cam and position channels somewhere on the internet. I think it would be interesting to see the position, weather, and seas of the vessel that you will be sailing soon! I'm so excited to see Freedom leaving the shipyard today! It's not long until our June 18 Honeymoon Cruise!! MM
tbone81 Posted April 13, 2006 #11 Share Posted April 13, 2006 The bridge cam is great, especially if you have an interior room. When you go to bed turn on the TV and set it to the bridge cam (its obviously dark), but when you wake up you have a beautiful view! Just like having a window!
