Nautica Cat. D vs. Cat. C1/C2?

We sailed on the Regatta for 30 days in a balcony cabin in the Fall of 2003 and are now ready to book a back to back in the Fall of 2007. Has anyone booked a category D porthole cabin? We are trying to decide whether it is worth it to spend the extra $1,000 or so for a C1/C2 picture window. Would very much appreciate any and all input.
