If you go to the "recommended" shopping areas, the one's built for the tourists, you'll pay largely comparable prices for most things, ... like alcohol. Somewhat cheaper. [notable exception: jewelry - much cheaper]

But if you go off the strips ... you'll see discounts. But you may also wind up with food poisoning, or tin "gold", or water "vanilla".

What are the prices like over there? As far as alcohol...

Pretty much the same as anywhere? I'd think cheaper..

60 bucks in Senior Frogs (very tourist) in Mazatlan - 5 Yard Margaritas(about the size of 2 regular size), 2 regular Margaritas, 1 order of Nachos, 1 order of cheese sticks and that was including the tip. Same 60 here in Phoenix at a similar type of establishment would get both appetizers and MAYBE 4 regular margaritas.

Did 3-1/2 of those Yards myself. I dont remember the ride (did we drive? ) back to the ship.
