Mercury Tip question

Hi,

Looking for an answer from a recent Mercury cruiser regarding tipping. Are the tips added to the onboard account or do I need to bring extra cash for this? I know about suggested amounts and how the account tipping works, I just can't find it in my cruise materials whether or not it is possible to put it on the account. Thanks in advance for your response.

Absolutely you can add the tips to your account. Celebrity suggests a certain amount per person per day, depending on your cabin. Suite guests are asked to pay an additional amount for their butler.

Final arrangements need to be made several days before the end of the cruise to take advantage of putting on your onboard account.

If Celebrity follows Royal Carribean , they even give you coupons to give to staff to show you tipped on a credit card.
