Maasdam Refit Progress

I was on the last cruise before the drydock, so I'll tell you what I know up to that point. The lights around both pools were removed the last night we were aboard and the pools drained. The Crow's Nest staff and Spa staff had begun packing by then, too, with full inventory before they moved all the stuff out.

Rumor originally had it that they were going to loose 4 days in drydock in the beginning due to the Star Princess taking their spot, but it turns out that either plans changed or it was not true to begin with.

They were scheduled to pick up 400 workers (who appeared to be primarily Italian) in Norfolk and another 500 in Ft. Lauderdale.

By our last breakfast on board workmen were scurrying about. One of them passed us with a huge roll of duct tape, so you know they're serious. :)
