Dawn Residency Requirement ?

Can anyone explain what is going on with bookings on the Dawn. It seems that a good chunk of the ship is set aside for residents of Georgia and Florida, and the rest of us can't book a cabin to our liking. This is not confined to one particular sailing, either.

 

I am not sure if this is normal for NCL. I am just trying to book my first cruise on NCL, and I seem to be running into a brick wall. I have tried several web sites, with the same results.

I noticed the same thing. I just booked the Dawn obst view; however, my travel agent is in Florida. I don't know if that made a difference, but I got the cabins.

Hmmmmm.........I wonder what the deal is with Florida and Georgia.

I think they are trying to get less New Yorkers/Jersey people aboard-- too many lawsuits.
