Kids on the QM2?

I am thinking about the QM2 for my 40th birthday! However, we are making it a family vacation. My kids will be 9 and 8, are they too young to enjoy this? Will they bother other vacationers? Is this a trip that should wait until the kids are older?

Thanks.

There are 150+ kids on this particular crossing, and they appear to be having a great time. The Zone does a great job in keeping them occupied without them running helter skelter throughout the ship. My two boys cannot wait to run off to the Zone each day. The only place consistently impacted by all the kids is the indoor pool on Deck 12. It has been pretty much taken over by all the children - which is okay by me.

I took my daughter who was 7 at the time on a crossing, and there were only 10 children onboard. She loved it anyway. As the previos poster said, the Zone was fun for her, she also loved the shows in the planetarium.

We liked it so much I am taking her back for another crossing next year.

I do not think that a well behaved child bothers anyone else.

Take the kids and enjoy!

happy birthday!
