Cruzntime Posted April 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2006 Attention recent Mariner of the Seas cruisers! My drink of choice is Long Island Iced Teas. Can someone tell me how much these drinks are this year? Thanks in advance.

Cruzntime Posted April 20, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted April 20, 2006 Oh man! I only paid $5.00 last year. At $6.95 that's a 39% increase in one year!! Are they making this from oil too?? Are y'all sure about the prices?
winncove Posted April 20, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2006 We also found different bars charge diff. prices for same drinks! [Yes, on the Mariner.] Some times the souvenir glass is $1 more, other times $.50 also. Strange!
FitzLA Posted April 20, 2006 #8 Share Posted April 20, 2006 Add 15 % to that. ~JS Still cheap....I always add $1 a drink for tip at home anyway, so figure the average drink is Los Angeles is $7.00 or more for something like a long island tea, its still a bargain. zotzer Posted April 20, 2006 #9 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I'm sure I have a receipt somewhere with a LIT on it. If I recall, they were around $6, but the prices for all the drinks seemed different every time I ordered one. LIT is definitely the best bang for your buck on the ship!! I found the drink prices to be super-reasonable, but then again, like Fitz, I live in a part of the country with an insane cost of living. Everything costs more here in the DC 'burbs. trishalee Posted April 20, 2006 #10 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I think you guys are right. Drinks at the various pool bars seem to be less expensive than those in the lounges at night. I alway s have my own "supplements" though, so our bar bills are always manageable, LOL.:D

Cruzntime Posted April 20, 2006 Author #12 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I guess the word expensive is a relative term. This really makes me wonder why the prices would be different at various locations on the ship or during different times of the day. I wonder if beverage pricing at different venues is reflective of the clientele which patronizes it. Not meaning to stereotype but strictly as an example, could it be drinks are more expensive at Ellington's (Jazz and Brass) versus the Dragon's Lair (disco)? Just curious. Oh, thanks for all of your replies.
