We have done them on Princess, but my guess is the procedure is similar. On those you do not change rooms, we received our new cruise cards the day before arriving on the first leg.

On a B2B where we had to change rooms, again we got our new cards ahead of time. We packed the drawers contents into our suitcases, left the closet hanging items. A crewman arrived with the "hotel dolly" and transported everything for us to our new room.

For the cases where we were returning to the US on the first leg we had to depart the ship to go through immigration, but did not have to clear customs. We cleared customs when we departed after the second leg.

We have done a back to back on another cruise line. A back to back cruise is great. The key is to reserve the same cabin for both cruises so that you don't have to pack and unpack. While the Celebrity crew would help you move it's a lot easier not to worry about any packing. One of the nice things about a back to back is that while most people will be packing the day before and getting a little sentimental about having to leave the ship, you will know that you will still be sailing with Celebrity.

Hi

We did B2B on Millie a couple of years ago. Luggage transfer was not a problem at all. The ships crew was very helpfull.

Agree with Keith1010 about staying on the ship when everybody else are getting ready to leave. You might also experience a little special treatment when you are B2B-cruisers. On the last night of the first week, we were approached by the maitre'd, proposing us a table for two, or any other special arrangement we might want for the following week.:)

We've done b2bs both ways, with the same cabin and with 2 different cabins. I'd rather not have to mess with the move, but like others said, it's not too big a deal, and the crew members help. Have a great cruise(s)!
