No, best bet is to have someone thats going on a cruise very soon to pick you up one. Then while she is eating over on Lido deck you can sneek it into her cabin. The gift shops aren't open when you get onboard, so it will be a few hours before they open.

Warm Breezes Posted April 20, 2006 #12 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I don't recall how much the dolls were on the Inspiration when we went but I do remember that none of them were real "Barbie" dolls. The Barbie pictured above was from their 1997 series and I only saw it on e-bay.:o

beaming90 Posted April 20, 2006 #15 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I collect Barbies, and have 2, one that is a Carnival Cruise line doll, and one that is actually a barbie with the carnival logo on her. I found both on Ebay. And I got good deals there. Good luck! Oh yeah, I did see a Carnival doll ( I want to say she is in a swimsuit) in a round plastic case thing when we were on our cruise last Feb. She was in the gift shop on board. She was probably 15-20.00. Good luck!!! :D

vesw01 Posted April 20, 2006 #20 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I bought a Captain Carnival Barbie for my daughter on the ship last year - it was about $15 and yes it was a real Barbie. Came with a change of outfits and shoes. Maybe you could buy one and ask your room steward when you first meet him/her to put it on the bed for you. You can also just head to the buffet, someone excuse themselves and head to the cabin. If you can get one precruise on ebay - go for it. Just watch how much they will charge you for shipping - that could spiral the cost
