Galaxy pictures and bars

Does anyone have a recent inside pictures of the Galaxy? With all the negative posts about her I would love to get an idea of the ship. Also, what bar on the ship would be nice and cozy for before dinner cocktails?

I don't think I'd describe any of the bars as cozy, but we liked a certain corner of the Stratosphere Lounge. It was never crowded - maybe because of the much-discussed fogged windows. ;)

Many thanks for the pictures... the Galaxy remains one of my favourite ships (I've booked her for March 2007) however I'm hearing lots of reports that she is in need of repairs sooner rather than later. The windows in the lounge are unbelievable... that should be something they can fix while in port.

The Galaxy is not that bad as some have indicated. Yes, the windows did look clouded up in the lounge, but how much time would you spend there when there are so many other places on the ship that you could be enjoying. We were on her in late Feburay for 12 days. The theater, dining room and all the public areas were great. We have been on the Connie in 2004 and the Milie in 2005 and I would compare them as the same as the Galaxy. All three had things that were not perfect. The T pool on the Galaxy is the best of the three. Each ship has its own personality. All three were constantly being attended to. You will like the Galaxy. The Ocean pool area and surrounding food services are great. We would sail her again if the dates, ports and prices fit. Rumor has it that she will have major changes made soon.
