5 night Bermuda - Formal Night?

Did the 5 night out of Bayonne NJ last year on Voyager. Only 1 formal night on that trip. Not that everyone dresses properly anyway. Many people just wearing golf shirts or casual attire. I like the formal night, I like having a reason to put a tie on.

When are you thinking about going?

We hopefully will be able to go on the June 11 cruise out of Bayonne. I will know around May 8 if we can go or not...

Did Bermuda in 2003 on the Empress of the Seas 7-night out of NYC. It rained the whole time, so I hope June will be better.

Last year on Sovereign, I was kind of upset how some people dressed for formal night... I like getting dressed up too!

Did you park at Cape Liberty? How was that?

There is only one formal night for the five day Bermuda cruise. The rest of the nights are casual.

You'll love Explorer. I was on Voyager last year and the ship was phenominal.

I also was on the Empress in 2003 and we had great weather in July.

Seems like many people are becoming too casual on formal night. I noticed that on Voyager (9-day and 5-day) last year. Was quite disappointing to see passengers look "too casual" in the dining room. It's nice to get dressed up once in a while.

Good luck and have a great time in Bermuda!

I had to modify formatting- as the cut and paste didn't format properly- and also deleted the other 'cruise length' dates... but this is what I found on the RCCL site...
