jude8 Posted April 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2006 We are going to Jamaica for the first time so we want to see Dunn's Falls. Which shore excursion do you think is best? I would appreciate any opinions. Dunns River Falls Tour - Drive to Ocho Rios to Dunns Falls - Then to Island Village for a buffet luncheon at Jimmy Buffets and shopping Dunn's River Express - Sightseeing on the way Town of Falmouth, Discovery Bay & Runaway Bay - Arrive at Dunn's Falls and return by lunch to the ship Best of Jamaica - Drive past Rose Hall, the Town of Falmouth, Discovery Bay - Go to Jamaica Grande Hotel and departing by boat on the North Coast - Then Dunn's River Falls for one hour - Then board a bus to Dolphin Cove and have lunch there - Then some shopping and heading back to ship
Guest ds0909 Posted April 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2006 We looked at the excursions on our cruise in January and we decided to go with a personal tour. We used Marva Shaw...she charged about 25-30 per person, which included tickets to Dunn's and the rest was up to us. she took us everywhere and let us do our own thing for a couple of hours then picked us up. She was so sweet that I got her card and used her again just two weeks ago when I came back again. Its a country of bargaining and you get a much better deal through her then the ship and you won't be disappointed. knowjamaica.com or (876) 726-0361
