Ladies! It's gonna be okay -- we're all gonna be in the dog house together!!! Just think - they'll be mad at us, get over it, probably get mad again at some point in time, etc. and so continues the cycle.....but all that matters is that we are gonna have an absolute BLAST!!!!!! :D I can't wait to meet you both! :)

PS - Plus, if the men get too pissy -- we can just leave their azzes at home!!! ;) Hey, wait - I think I like that idea the best!

I like the way you think ! Told John about it and he just said uh huh---he wont know when I book it !

I guess I'll have to join the "Dog House" group. I get dirty looks if a cruise commercial even comes on T.V. or if I make my bath water blue. My SO does let me go without him sometimes. In fact, he practicaly paid me to take a girl friend with me for the Valor Vampires.

This Aug. I'm going on the Miracle with my sis & step-daughter (aka my best friend). He just doesn't get into it the way I do. If it's like usual, we'll only have to make a little tiny deposit. I think my daughters need a cruise in about 17 months.

He works for the county, which makes him a deputy sheriff, but he really acts in the same manner as a city police officer; our sheriff's dept is unique like that because there's so much unincorporated land. They're probably bigger than a lot of mid-sized city police departments.

Yeah, I think my Matt would enjoy the chat. He tolerated my time in the casino last year by talking to a police chief from a small Oklahoma town that was playing craps near me every night.

Welcome to the dog house!

I'd cruise without DH if he'd let me. I did it once, in December '04. Well, word got out about how crazy THAT was (and I unfortunately had evidence in the form of a nearly $900 bar bill for myself; and that's just from the ship!), so I don't think he'll ever let me do it again.

I always wondered why the little $25 deposits.

Now I know... they aren't obvious on the CC bill! :D

That's it!

I knew I was hosed when I got home from the Grand. I had no way to hide that bar bill. Or the pictures. Oh, lord, the pictures...I don't know what did me in worse! :o

So are ya gonna book??:D :p

I thought we were still picking?

Also, there was a plot in motion to do Voyager in that timeframe, but I see our organizer Meredith has voted for 3 out of 7 options on S&S3! I have Alaska in the August timeframe, so there is no way I could do 3 (plus probably one in Feb) in that timeframe. I am feeling rather inspired these days though...

You do realize that posting the pictures on Webshots doesn't help with the hiding, right??? :p

Poor Leslie and I had like 125 jello shots on CCII, and not much help. We started offering them to other people around the hot tubs...

Hey, I was just keeping my options open. I just picked the best of the itineraries I've never done!

And I was exposed before they went up on Webshots, so no need to hide them anymore!

BTW, the Voyager's first cruise from Galveston is the Christmas cruise, so that's got to be pushed back until at least January '08. May make a great birthday present for me! :D

I leave early from work - only to get home and see we have two new additions to the Dog House! Welcome!!! :D

BTW - Kelly - Ryan just turned 30....I can see the Matts & Ryan (and others I am sure) forming their own little club.....and I am pretty sure I can see Ryan disowning me by the time the cruise is over...not sure if that's a bad thing or not  :p

Are you telling me you smuggled jello shots onto the ship?

Would that be in your checked or carry-on luggage?

Will do. This would be a "friends of Mike" group because I'll be inviting various cruising friends (not all of who know each other), local friends (what are those?), family, and whoever else strikes me (Uh oh... back to the spankin' thread...)

I'm taking my parents, so that is 2 cabins to start. I'm not really introducing them to y'all is all a good idea, but what the heck. If I get critical mass it should be enough to make a small group. I suppose if we put more Mikes together it could be a "Friends of Mikes". Will be 2007, most likely August.
