bubbie617 Posted April 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2006 This message was sent out by a reliable online cruise agency today. "Princess has confirmed that the fire last month aboard the Star Princess started on a cabin balcony. Although the cause is still unknown, Princess has taken steps to prevent a reoccurrence. Balconies will be monitored from the bridge 24 hours a day, crew members will be trained in handling balcony fires, communication to passengers regarding fire safety will be improved, and changes will be made to housekeeping procedures regarding items left on balconies. Princess has committed to improving fire safety on balconies fleet wide." Either some people better give up acrobatics on the balcony or the bridge crew will get quite an eyeful! That would be wide angle for the big butts...zoom for the close ups...macro for the little fellows...:D autofocus if the crew is involved....Just a question? God knows I tried not to post on this thread...but the Devil won out on this one...:p Jeff

Good for the Devil winning out!!!:D Rick
catmand Posted April 26, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 26, 2006 So is the implication that friction caused by the "acrobatics" was the possible source?
