Dive Shop in Tortola

Can anyone recommend a dive operator in Tortola? Our cruise will stop there in Feb. 07 and we prefer booking our dives independently if possible.

Try UBS Dive Center. They do private charters of their boats instead of the regular public charters and the individualization and service are worth even penny. They'll take you where you want to dive, you'll dive your own profile, and the boat will be yours for the entire charter to direct as you will. If you have a group of 4, the price per person is about what going with anyone else is, but nothing else will compare.

Try Aquaventures BVI. I went out with them last year and had a great trip. There were only 2 of us on the boat and we each had a divemaster to ourselves and got to dive the dive that was right for us. Phil runs a great shop and was in the process of getting a new boat.

A second enthusiastic recommendation for UBS Dive Center. Kate and her crew are the best. We have dived with them for several years, and did our advanced open water certification with them last year. A class outfit who will treat you well. We will be diving with them next February, sometime between the 11th and the 21st.
