cruisingwiththekids Posted April 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2006 I have read several posts that mention that if you are going to swim with the stingrays or with dolphins that you should wear biodegradeable sunscreen. Anyone have any recommendations on a good brand to get? With the strength of the sun in the caribbean, we have to have sunscreen on!
punkinheads Posted April 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Wow thats funny. I have been wondering the same thing. I have looked in stores and can't find any. PAISANO Posted April 26, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Try this link I understand it has to be paba and oil free to be biodegradeable. http://www.natures-gate.com/shop/showCatalog.asp?category=156 This site is suppose to be eco friendly. I would call the number under customer service and ask them to make sure it's biodegradeable. I'm almost sure it is. If this doesn't work for you try google and type in biodegradeable sunblock. I hope this helps.
Chupa Cabras Posted April 28, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2006 After doing many searches, this is the only sunscreen I've found online that actually states that the label has the correct information for the parks to accept it as ecologically safe. http://www.mexitan.com I know several of the parks in Mexico use Natures Gate. Some have used Australian Gold, although the label doesn't indicate it is biodegradable or ecologically safe.
