Legend/Triumph Differences

GF and I had a great time on Triumph last year and are planning to sail the Legend this year. Can those who have sailed both let us know about any differences? We don't care to judge one as "better" or "worse" than the other, we're just curious about key differences in terms of size, amenities, entertainment venues, layout, spa/gym, dining options/atmosphere/seating times, whatever. Thanks.

The Legend is one of the Spirit class ships while the Triumph is a Destiny class ship. The Triumph holds a lot more passengers about 2800 while the Legend holds about 2200. The layout of the Legend is different than the Triumph with the Promenade on Deck 2 and only one main dining room. I personally love the layout of the Legend but I also had a great time aboard the Triumph. I definitely preferred the layout of the casino on the Legend. It has a bar inside the casino with a seating area and usually had music at night.

HAving sailed the Victory and the Legend--- The legend is sooo much easier to navigate compared to the Victory/Triumph.

 

Another difference is only one dining room with two dining times on the legend and easy to get to.

we sailed on both types of ships, the legend will offer you more stuff (like a supper club, and fridge in your room). we liked both ships, but will choose ships like the Legend over the Triumph any day of the week.

I liked the Lido deck casual dining area on Triumph better than on Legend. It seemed to always be crowded on Legend, but maybe it was just because those passengers always ate VERY leisurely meals. :rolleyes:

we sailed on both types of ships, the legend will offer you more stuff (like a supper club, and fridge in your room). we liked both ships, but will choose ships like the Legend over the Triumph any day of the week.

 

Thanks. Which cabins get refrigerators on Legend? (not that we'd really need one anyway, but...)

I believe that most if not all cabins aboard the Legend have refigerators.
