Flight times for Transatlantic

The four of us will be arriving in New York on June 4, 2006 after what should be our first and very memorable transatlantic crossing on the QM2.

There has been several threads in regards to where the QM2 will dock 6/4/06, Manhattan or Red Hook.

Does anyone have an idea on the 6/4/06 dock site?

And, how does this affect transit time to New York airports?

 

In addition what should be the earliest flight we book in order to return to everyday life back home in New Hampshire?

 

Any input will be greatly appreciated,

Red Hook it is!!!! Not being from NY, I can't tell you about the airports. However, be aware that even though she will be minus her bad pod, she's still arriving ahead of schedule. We arrived 2 hours early in Southampton on April 21.

 

So just don't cut yourself short on time like booking a 10:30 flight. But don't get stuck at the airport for 6 hours because Cunard said you wouldn't be able to catch a bus or taxi until noon. They don't know what they are talking about when you speak to California.

 

Sad.
