Best of Skagway excursion question

This is our first cruise to Alaska on the Coral Princess on July 10th. We are trying to decide on excursions in Skagway between the White Pass Railway or the Best of Skagway tour. We do have passports which are needed for the Best of Skagway. Has anyone taken this particular tour through Princess and can give some feedback? I'd really love some help. Thanks.:)

You will need your passports for the train ride as you will be entering Canada. As small a Skagway is, you can walk around town in a couple of hours. The train ride takes 3 hours total. We were there last year.;)
