We set sail on May 8 on the 5 day Mexico cruise? What excursions do you suggest or have you liked in the past?

 

Update: I think is actually called the Baja Mexico cruise.

Are you talking about the 4-night Baja cruise on the Monarch of the Seas?

If so, ports are Catalina, San Diego and Ensenada...

 

Not the world's most exciting ports...

In Ensenada, last couple of cruises, we've taken the Winery tour...think it's the best one offered...It gets you out of town into the countryside to a couple of local wineries with quite a bit of winetasting...for only $29 per person...

 

La Bufadora is really disappointing, so I avoid those tours...

 

At the end of the winery tour (it starts at 8:45 and is over by 1 pm) we take the option of being dropped off in town, have some fish tacos at Papas and Beer, then do a little shopping before heading back to the ship...

 

In Catalina, we've done the glass bottom boats and submarines...they don't take up too much time...Once we did the Inland Motor tour--which I prefer for a nice overview of the whole island--

 

Or, you can just wander around town on your own...

 

San Diego? What can I say, it depends on what you want to do...
