bonnvoyage Posted May 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2006 Hi, we will be in Nassau in Septmeber on Sovereign..from 11am til 3 am. We are traveling with 5 children ages 19,16,11,10,and 7. We were going to do the Atlantis/ Comfort Suites thing but since we are not arriving until the middle of the morning it may not make sense to spend all this money for just a few hours..any other suggestions on somewhere to go that will keep the kiddies occupied? We will probably try to do a little shopping since the older teens are girls and are in the market for jewelry etc. Any help is really appreciated.. we did this cruise once before and the weather was so crummy it rained the entire 4 days :( We are hoping for better luck this time! Bonne Check the zoo (www.ardastra.com) or the Pirates museum (www.pirates-of-nassau.com As for shopping, the straw market is near the port, and there are many jewelry and souvenier shops along Bay Street. suezyq50 Posted May 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2006 You would still have plenty of time at Atlantis. Do the slides etc. earlier in the day, with the Dig, etc later on. The slides are opened until 7 pm. You probably won't have long lines with school back in session. With that age range, all would enjoy it. Just my opinion.:)
