Ti Kaye- Off Topic, but has anyone been??

Just recently visited Ti Kaye Village in March 06 - only for the day.

After reading reviews, we expected something a bit different. The snorkeling was only fair, but the beach itself was nice. The stairs leading up to the resort are tough!

The taxi ride from the cruise port was $80 US round trip . . . although the first quote was $125. I took almost 1/2 hour to get the cheaper rate.

Overall the day was just average. Average snorkeling, and an okay meal at the restaurant. Service was good, and the staff were very friendly.

If you go, make sure you arrange a time for the taxi driver to come back. And give yourself extra time ... our taxi driver was 1/2 hour later than expected.

St. Lucia was a beautiful country, but we did not enjoy the overly agressive tactics at the cruise pier.
