First time cruises (Baltic) Gents day time clothing

Could somebody offer advise on clothing on our cruise. I have read lots of comments that Jeans are not permitted in the dining room after 6pm. Thats is ok for, us.

However, are they permitted during the day?

My Husband wears black jeans (not scruff or torn) & we were advised that would be ok by our travel company. However, I have not seen any comments on the message boards that these would be ok in the day by fellow cruisers.

 

We are sailing on the Constellation in August to Scandinavia & Northern Europe. Can anyone clarify this please?:)

We were on a different cruise line, but on the days when it was too cool for shorts, my husband wore jeans during the day.

During the day jeans are accepted on most cruiselines.

It's the dinnertime hours they are not.
