Where can I find the work of native artists?

On all of our cruises, I've picked up some art work. For example, a couple of Jill Walker prints in Barbados, an original watercolor in Martinique, etc. They are all lovely reminders of wonderful vacations.

Any advise on where to look in Grand Cayman? While I prefer paintings or prints, we would also enjoy sculptures and such.

Thanks!

Jayne

Try Pure Art. We loved the place. They had so many things to choose from. They had paintings, pictures, jewelry, wood carvings, Xmas ornaments, cross-stitched pot holders, and TONS of other items made by local artists.

Pure Art is located about a mile out of town on South Sound Road & Denham-Thompson Way (toward the right of the port-away from 7MB). It will be on your left as you leave town. It's located in an old house on a corner-I think it was white-and the front of the shop faces the side street. It's just such a neat place and very few cruisers go there probably because you'd need to take a cab.

We were there for a week and didn't find any other store like this. Here's some more info on the store.
