lauren0309 Posted May 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2006 Has anyone done the 1/2 day jeep tour sponsored by the ship. We were wondering what the description meant when it said there is a stop in the caves? Do you walk though a cave or drive the jeep though? Also, Arashi Beach do they have any bathrooms? We were wondering what the description meant when it said there is a stop in the caves? Do you walk though a cave or drive the jeep though? Also, Arashi Beach do they have any bathrooms? Hello Lauren. I just go back from Destiny this weekend. My boyfriend and I did all tours on our own so I can't really help you with your question. We rented a Jeep on our own in Aruba. It was $75 for the whole day, you have to return it by 6pm and we paid $15 for insurance so $90 all together. The rental companies are right on terminal. They provide you with a map so that you can find your way. I went to Arashi Beach which is the 1st beach on the North Tip of island, you can see the California Lighthouse from there. I don't remember seeing bathrooms since we didnt stay there for long. We went beach hopping b/c we wanted to compare, LOL. Hope this helped....btw, can you take me back to Aruba with you? I LOVED IT. If you are planning on doing shopping, do it early since most stores close by 6-6:30pm...... http://www.aruba.com/pages/ebrochures.htm here you can download a map of Aruba which will help you see some locations of landmarks. lazygal Posted June 18, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2006 The caves we went to was a walk through. Not very deep at all. More like a walk in and around. In truth, we could have missed that part of the tour and spent more time at the beach.
