Alamo at Port of Miami

I'm trying to arrange for a rental at the Port of Miami so we can drive to FLL since we have a later flight out. So far Alamo is the cheapest. Is their location at the port or do they shuttle you to the airport. Also if anyone has rented from alamo in the past how long did it take you to get to the rental counter and pick up your car?

There are no car rental agencies at Port of Miami. The Alamo location your referring to is at the airport, 20-25 minutes away.

I did exactly what you're doing twice in the past 6 months. Alamo has shuttles that come around the piers and will pick you up and take you to the Airport location. In Feb I waited less than 5 minutes for this shuttle, but once on the bus, heard others talking that they had waited much much longer. Always call to confirm that the shuttles will be running on the day of your arrival. Alamo had the cheapest prices on a small SUV, even cheaper than a regular car.
