AnneNchris Posted May 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2006 Hi...We are booked on the 6/18/06 sailing of the spirit; however, I see that they have a one night cruise on 6/17...sooooo my question is....will this make boarding the ship take extra long? I had planned on getting to the port about 11:30...in hopes to get in line early....any thoughts?
Mazckruise Posted May 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2006 I don't know for sure , But I would say that a one night cruise will have much less luggage to dissembark. Also immigration may be easier because fewer people will come from across the borders for only a 1 night passage. I will be abaord 6/18 also. Cannot wait!!!!! Family with 2 cabins. I hope the NY locals don't heckle me too much in my REDSAWKS attire.
tdsubteach Posted May 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2006 I agree that the one night cruise the night before should quickly disembark. We are a family of 4 (kids 7 and 12)boarding on 6/18 also. We are coming up from Maryland and will also be wearing our Red Sox attire while in Yankee country. I only hear good things about all those New Yorkers....:p

Looks like you really lucked-out:) You will also be the only ship departing on 6/18 PONY. 3 departing 6/17 PONY! Those passengers on the 6/17 spirit will have some traffic jam:eek:
