Janiekins Posted May 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2006 My husband and I would like to take our 2 teenage sons (16 & 17) on a cruise in February, 2007 deparating from Florida (we live in Mass). A Caribbean cruise. Which cruise line & destination would you suggest? Looking for something a little more upscale but w/ a lot to do for teenagers. wrp96 Posted May 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2006 Royal Caribbean Radiance class, Voyager class, or Freedom class. Look especially at Mariner of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, and Freedom of the Seas. These will have the largest teen areas but still offer a lot of adults only areas. bruce-r Posted May 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2006 Royal Caribbean, voyager class and a western itinerary. I'd personally skip any cruise that stopped in Jamaica (just my personal prejudice), unless you are looking to score some ganja for your sons. In Grand Cayman, do the Stingray City thing. In Cozumel, either do a discover scuba dive or rent a vehicle and do a circle the island trip. First get the Cozumel map from http://www.cancunmap.com
bug42362 Posted May 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2006 We took our two teenage sons last year .... I only asked that they attend the teen meeting on the first day to see what was offered ...of course they balked! After going they made great friends, and had a fantastic time we could hardly keep them out of the teen center.
