Evening Thames River Cruise

We are spending 4 days in London before our Golden Princess Cruise in August. I am thinking about booking the London Showboat River Cruise through City Cruises. Thought it would be a nice relaxing way to see the City at night.

 

Has anyone ever taken this cruise? Was it enjoyable?

 

Also it looks like LondonTown dot com has the best price. I am a little leery about booking through a third party site. Has anyone had any experiences booking with them?

We did a one hour Thames cruise after a ride on the London Eye a couple of years ago. The weather was very nice, so we enjoyed the boat ride a lot. I have not used Londontown.com but have friends who have booked through them. Our river cruise was purchased along with our London Eye ticket through their web site, so I don't have a lot of information on the various companies that offer this trip. But we did enjoy it and hope you have a nice stay in London.
