nyckruzer Posted May 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2006 I just noticed that for 2007 Cunard has re-classified cabins aboard QM2 once again on its website. Anyone have a clue what "Britannia Club-AA" cabins provide vs. the other Britannia-Class cabins?
guernseyguy Posted May 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2006 As far as we know a single seating section (location unknown) in the Britannia Restaurant - and thats it. Peter
garycarla Posted May 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2006 There was another thread about this a few weeks ago. Still in the works I believe.
wynkys Posted May 15, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2006 As I understand it, the special dining will utilise two rooms at the rear of the main floor of the Britannia restaurant and although the cabins will be the same, the towels, robes and Bon Voyage wine will be the same as in the Princess Grill cabins. The cabins are also due to be spruced up during the November drydock. Wayne
pnhmrk Posted May 15, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2006 I can't help but wonder if this isn't a sign that Cunard are finding that people like the idea of a three class ship (A la QE2, with Grill, Caronia and Mauritania). One of the reasons we have no plans to go on the QM2 is that we don't want a set dining time and we're not willing to pay grill prices to have that.
