Hello to all. Question to those how have lived in or traveled to Tallahassee. I'm going to be stopping by there on my way down to Tampa in June. I've never been to the Florida panhandle before, What is the water like? Is it like Tampa's water? I know it's not going to be crystal clear like the caribbean, but Myrtle Beach SC is the closest to my home and you can't see your feet in knee deep water! haha. What are the beaches like?

There is no beach in Tallahassee. You would need to stay in San Destin, Pensacola, Fort walton, or Panama City. These towns are big for spring breakers. The beach and water is as good as anywhere in Florida. Sugar white sand. Tallahassee is too far inland.
