billet Posted May 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2006 Can anyone describe the sleeping arrangement in an oceanview double with balcony for 4 adults - are there pull down bunks and are they comfortable. All the mini suites are gone for the 21 Oct Hawaii cruise so we are trying to book something and wondering if it will be tenable.
tequilasunrise Posted May 16, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2006 There will be two lower bunks and two that pull down from the ceiling. Your steward pulls them down in the evening and replaces them during the day, so they are not always in your way. There is a narrow walkway down the middle of the room and a small desk area at the end, followed by the balcony. It's snug for 4, good for families with younger children, tight if they are teens...and four adults will trip on each other so you'd better have a pretty solid relationship. Still, it's a great value if you don't mind being "close" and don't plan to spend much time in the room.

billet Posted May 17, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted May 17, 2006 Thanks everyone for the information. We are going with 3 to a cabin to allow some breathing space since I suspect the girl in your picture is not 6' tall!
